A Breonna Taylor statue in Oakland, California is vandalized just two weeks after it was installed. On Monday, authorities said they were investigating the incident in which the ceramic bust was reportedly smashed with a baseball bat.
It depicted the Kentucky woman who died in March while police served a warrant at her residence as they reportedly suspected two men wanted for drug trafficking of having used her apartment to receive illicit packages.
On Monday, December 21st there was a newly erected #SayHerName bust of Breonna Taylor in Downtown Oakland.
Today, the day after Christmas, it’s now destroyed.
